No Season 4 for the mermaid drama.
August 5, 2020
It is being reported that Siren has been cancelled by Freeform after three seasons. The sad news comes two months after the drama's Season 3 finale in May, which now serves as its series ender.
The cancellation comes as somewhat of a surprise, as the show has been one of the cable network's top originals since its premiere in 2018. Drama-wise, Freeform still has The Bold Type, Good Trouble, and Motherland: Fort Salem remaining in its lineup.
Siren follows the residents of Bristol Cove, a coastal fishing town where a legend exists that it was once home to mermaids. The folklore is proven true when a mysterious girl named Ryn arrives, wreaking havoc that results in a battle between the town's residents and these predatory beings who wish to reclaim their right to the sea.

It seems networks don't really seem to care anymore. Happened with Roseanne and Last Man Standing as well. I know you can say those were for very different reasons maybe but people need to start separating the show and character from the real life person. One has usually very little if not nothing to do with the other.
