The military dramedy will not return for Season 2.
September 2, 2020
It is being reported that Paramount Network has cancelled 68 Whiskey after just one season. The news comes five months after the dramedy wrapped its 10-episode freshman run.
The hour-long series got off to a solid start when it premiered in January, garnering decent reviews and fairly good ratings in the early going. Unfortunately audiences did not stick around, leaving the show outside of cable TV's Top 100 by its finale.
68 Whiskey follows a diverse group of men and women who are stationed in Afghanistan as Army medics. As they endure dangerous surroundings, they rely on friendship, vices, and a shared sense of purpose to get them through their days.

So sad to hear this !! My husband and I both enjoyed this show, their storylines and all the characters !! That doesn't happen very often in our house !! Good luck to everyone !! Maybe another network will pick it up !!

I'm so sorry.:( I know it wasn't a good series but, for some reason, I've been checking the status of this show a few times/week and hoped to see a season 2. I'd not previously heard of Cristina Rodlo before and found her character interesting & attractive. Good luck to all involved with the rest of their careers. I'll delete it from my DVR menus now.

This show was absolute garbage. Clearly the top of the heap for bad shows for the last year. They portrayed everything these clowns did operating out of a F.O.B. completely wrong and irresponsibly. Nearly everything they did was wrong and dangerous to everyone around them.

Damn shame. It really was "M.A.S.H." for the 21st century. I'm really surprised the show failed to catch the ratings.

If a show doesn't have a political agenda or any LGBTQ characters, it's not going to last.
