HBO Max announced today that Raised by Wolves has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes two weeks into the sci-fi drama's run, which has been garnering mostly-favorable reviews from critics.
The hour-long series premiered on September 3 with three episodes immediately available for streaming. Subsequent weeks have seen two episodes release at a time. Viewership has been strong thus far, with the show ranking as the best-performing original on HBO Max since its May launch.
Raised by Wolves takes place on a mysterious virgin planet, where two androids have been tasked with raising human children. As the colony of humans grows and develops, it threatens to be torn apart by religious differences - causing the androids to realize that controlling human beliefs is not an easy task.
Look for Season 2 of Raised by Wolves sometime in 2021. For now, new episodes are dropping weekly on Thursdays, with the season finale scheduled for October 1.

Hopefully the next season will offer some other colors than grey, dark grey and light grey.

Better than most junk on tv. One of the very few show watched.
Weak father robo yeah yeah I get it, this bullshit seems inescapable from a dying entertainment industry. Yet Ridley Scott works around the network dictates, he knows how to Ripley.

Interesting series... I do laugh at the fact that they go so far out of their way to make "Mother" appear as a female having the right "bumps" and curves in places but remaining very "barbie-like" in overall definition and detail --- "Father"... can't say the same for. Those jumpsuits aren't as ... uhm... smoothing for men... if you don't also do some "smushing" and hiding underneath them. So why does a "standard service model" have such.. uhm.. equipment? :) Oh THAT's why there was a war and the race is dying out.. I get it now! :)
