The financial drama will continue in 2021.
October 1, 2020
Showtime announced today that Billions has been renewed for a sixth season. The good news comes three months after Season 5 of the critically-acclaimed drama was interrupted because of the production shutdown due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The show aired its last new episode on June 14, which was episode seven out of 12. The cable network's plan as-of now is to air the remaining five episodes of Season 5 in 2021, with Season 6 following later in the year. All of this depends, of course, on the safe resumption of production.
Billions stars Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis as two warring power players in the high-stakes world of New York finance. Giamatti plays a shrewd U.S. Attorney who puts his smarts and power up against an ambitious hedge fund manager, played by Lewis, in a bid to outmaneuver each other in a world where billions of dollars are at stake. Corey Stoll, who joined the show this year playing Mike Prince, has been promoted from a guest starring role to series regular for Season 6.

Great news, with this show and a Dexter reboot I might consider a showtime subscription. Bring Ray Donovan back and I'll have a reason to watch showtime!

Ben , you know nothing of what happened evidently. Watch epstien filthy rich.( on netlfix) he ran two scenes , one for the average person and one for pedos. so you could go to his island and only see 20 year women. his pedo thing was much more hidden. prince andrew though evidently was in that. however the 20 year olds were treated badly too. most billionaires never were pedos and are not now either. that q conspiracy is for wanker idiots.

@Ben, Well Mr. Dover, you clearly have an arm's length relationship with reality as well as tv programming.

I always liked this show, but it's time has come. How many times can Chuck and Bobby keep chasing each other's tail. At least Ray Donovan kept the story moving forward. Billions is getting stale. Time to rap it up.

The other half would be plotting suicides in prison to keep things quiet -- or branding the women....

In a realistic show about billionaires, over half the characters would be actively involved in child sex trafficking.
