The streaming comedy will return for Season 2.
November 17, 2020
Hulu announced today that Woke has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes two months after the comedy released its freshman run, which has received mostly positive leaning reviews.
Based on the life of artist Keith Knight, the half-hour series follows up-and-coming African-American cartoonist Keef. When an unexpected incident causes him to see the world in a whole new light, Keef is left to face new voices and ideas that challenge him - all without destroying everything he’s already built.
The streaming service has ordered another eight episodes of Woke for Season 2, which should return later in 2021.

It's easy to win something when you cheat.

@Just Honest: No one is interested in your political garbage. Ineffectiveness though is your specialty, according to your SO.

Better than hours of news about a crybaby trying to steal back an office they lost in historically large numbers, or a pandemic that a lame duck administration does fuels by doing nothing. We need less right wing ineffectiveness.

Now that there is a season 2 I will give it a try. Nothing like watching 1 season only to see the show canceled.

Surprisingly less "preachy" than many network prime time sitcoms.
