The hit celebrity singing competition will continue in 2021.

Fox announced today that The Masked Singer has been picked up for a fifth season. Coming two weeks ahead of the show's current season finale, the renewal is no surprise considering the singing competition's continued strong performance.
Based on a format that originated out of South Korea, the series premiered in 2019 to an unsuspecting US audience with the potential to end up as another mid-season flop. But its strange, silly, and unique take on the reality singing genre piqued viewers' curiosity, and word-of-mouth took over from there. The show has already released four seasons since its debut early last year.
The Masked Singer features celebrities going head-to-head in a singing competition that has an intriguing twist: each singer is wearing an elaborate costume that completely conceals their identity. Competitors include singers, actors, and athletes - all trying to keep the audience and panelists in the dark about who they really are. As singers are eliminated each week, their true identities are revealed.
Look for Season 5 of The Masked Singer in 2021.

Agreed, Nick Cannon needs to go, and NEXT should stay... not sure if its season will end on a cliffhanger?
I'd much rather watch mindless pablum than a well written drama show !!
He publicly called white people violent animals and said it's impossible for black people to be anti-Semitic because blacks are the real Semites.
Not to mention, last season sucked as well... splitting the celebrities into 3 groups and doing things one group at a time... forgot who was from the other groups!
Finally, not enough bad singers! It seems they only want super talented people on this show. Much funnier when Tommy Chong and Terry Bradshaw (who was surprisingly good!) were on it.
