The Canadian medical drama will return for Season 2.

NBC announced today that Transplant has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes just days after the Canadian medical drama wrapped its freshman run, which garnered solid ratings for the network on Tuesday nights.
The show was acquired by NBC earlier in the year to help shore up its fall lineup, which had been affected by the COVID-19 production shutdown. Popular up north as well, Canadian outlet Bell Media had already renewed the show for Season 2 this past Summer.
Transplant follows Dr. Bashir "Bash" Hamed, a Syrian doctor who fled his troubled country and moved to Canada with his younger sister Amira. Hoping to use his battle-tested skills to return to his career in medicine, Bash and Amira work to build a new life while dealing with the ups-and-downs that come along with their new surroundings. Bash's life experiences and unique medical background allows him to navigate a new environment and forge relationships after earning a coveted residency in the Emergency Department of one of Toronto's best hospitals.
Look for Season 2 of Transplant in 2021.

When the heck is this coming back? All of the shows have returned this Fall, but this show has been off the air since last year. Please, bring back new episodes!

I'm thrilled that Transplant has been renewed! This show is awesome. I love every single character! Are we going to have to wait until December 2021 for more shows?

Great show glad to see it renewed. Sad though, that NBC had to get a good show from Canada, because they seem to be unable to provide us their own. NBC only seems capable of creating Political garbage, mindless game shows and crap passed off as comedic. Bring us more shows from the world and fire the Morons at NBC!
