The thriller will return for Season 2.
December 18, 2020
HBO Max announced today that The Flight Attendant has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes just a day after the thriller wrapped its 8-episode freshman run, which garnered a healthy amount of critical praise and ranked as the streamer's top series during that time.
Based on Chris Bohjalian's 2018 novel of the same name, Season 1 of the series stars Kaley Cuoco as Cassie Bowden, a flight attendant who wakes up hungover in a Bangkok hotel room to find a dead body next to her. With no memories of what happened the night before, she sets out to unravel the mystery of what actually happened.
Season 2 of The Flight Attendant will follow Cassie in an entirely new adventure. Look for a return in early 2022.

In retrospect: great!
Did it go a bit slow with too many drunk moments in the beginning? Yes.
Was there in fact a very good plot? Also yes. But it should have been trimmed down to 5 episodes...
I hope we see "Miranda" again in S2!

What’s known from where I’m from as a “bagger” - as in a bag-of-shite.
Managed ten minutes of S1E1 and turned off. Not worth wasting bandwidth over.

If you look at the crap that passes for entertainment on TV today this show wasn't that bad. It could use with better writing but with a second season I' am hoping we will get better scripts and some better acting to support Katie C. The plot of this movie is somewhat and I mean somewhat reminiscent of a classic 1975 Robert Redford thriller " Three Days of the Condor". If the second season keeps the best parts of this series it should be much better.

I gave up after the first three episodes. There was nothing in the main character that was redeeming. Clearly an out of control alcoholic and completely irresponsible.
The only thing that made the show even mildly watchable was Ms. Cuoco. She turned situations that in real life would be a complete embarrassment into "laugh at the drunk" moments.

Satan ,
She was given something at the end remember like a job offer ...
Sorry to everyone if you haven't seen it yet
My personal thoughts if the next season holds up like the first we might be lucky
There was rumours of telling the other attendants stories

Man who walk in airport sideways is going to Bangkok.
Not a bad show but I dont see how it can really go anywhere from here.
I think season 2 will be a fizzer.

I thought it was decent. I do detest the lack of talent that is Rosie Perez. After White Men Can't Jump, where she essentially played herself, she's shown repeatedly that she's not really an actress. Series would be much better without that casting, but the storyline was good. And I imagine season two may move in the espionage direction.
Now, let's all go have a drink or fifteen!
