Stephen Colbert's Tooning Out The News has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes two months after the animated political satire wrapped its freshman run on streaming service CBS All Access.

The wait for Season 2 won't be long, as a premiere date of March 4 has already been confirmed. Look for its return on Paramount+ though, as CBS All Access will be rebranding itself in early March.

Tooning Out The News features a cast of animated characters parodying top news stories along with interviews of real-world guests including newsmakers and analysts.
