Stephen Colbert's Tooning Out The News has been cancelled by Comedy Central after its third season. The news comes just one day after the animated political satire wrapped its now-final run.
The series premiered in 2020, airing its first two seasons on Paramount+ (formerly known as CBS All Access) before moving to Comedy Central in 2022. In total, the show aired 256 episodes in three years.
Tooning Out The News featured a cast of animated characters parodying top news stories along with interviews of real-world guests including newsmakers and analysts.

Watched one episode and didn't like it surprised it even got a second season.

Should never been on TV in the first place. Colbert is overrated and never been funny
