It was announced today that a spinoff of Bosch has been ordered by Amazon's ad-supported streaming service, IMDb TV. The good news comes just over a year after the detective drama was renewed for a seventh and final season, which has yet to set a premiere date.
Fans of the series will surely be pleased to hear that Titus Welliver, Mimi Rogers, and Madison Lintz will all be reprising their roles in the new spinoff, which will follow the titular detective in the next phase of his career.
Based on Michael Connelly's best-selling series of books, Bosch has had a successful run on Amazon Prime Video, ranking as one of its longest-running and best-received originals. The show follows a police detective who is navigating tough situations in both his personal and professional life after being implicated in the killing of a serial murder suspect.
The final season of Bosch is slated to premiere this summer. As for the currently-untitled spinoff, no timeline for its debut has been announced as of yet.

Sad to hear it will be on IMBD thru Amazon Prime. I can't stand commercials. So I'll be dvr'ing and hopefully forwarding thru the commercials. I'm glad it's continuing!

Never heard of a spin off like that. It is just bosch with a dif name. And imnb will not skip eps of it's own show, but bosch is my favorite detective show of all time , so I say Yeah!!!!!.

love Bosch.. willwatch the spin off.. but never with IMdb.. they skip episodes and that spoils story lines.

Why the H... call it a spin off, when the Bosch be in it. Unless he just will be a supporting actor in the beginning and is written out later. For Mimi Rogers - well, I'm not watching it for her.
I have a feeling this won't last - I'm conflicted about it. I like Bosch, but not sure, I like the idea of a spin off of Bosch ABOUT Bosch - it don't makes sence.
