No Season 2 for the British crime drama.
May 4, 2021
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled The Irregulars after just one season. The somewhat surprising news comes just over a month after the detective drama released its freshman run.
The reason for the cancellation is unclear, as the series garnered fairly positive reviews and made it into the streaming service's Top 10 list. It even ranked #1 in the Nielsen weekly Top 10 chart for the week of March 29 - April 4.
The show follows a group of misfit teens known as The Baker Street Irregulars, who live in 19th-century London. They spend their days investigating crimes of the supernatural variety at the behest of Dr. Watson and his elusive associate, Sherlock Holmes.

Good for Netflix. Sherlock Holmes doesn't need supernatural nor reinventing the wheel. Stick to the elements that have made these stories popular for a 100+ years. Bring on Enola and more traditional Sherlock Holmes adventures.

3 attempts at the 1st episode. it's so annoying. No wonder it was cancelled. The main character i can only take in small doses. Squeaky, whiney, plus annoying does not make a great foundation for a lead character. show never had a chance.

watch a show to see if you like it. Do not worry if it's going to be cancelled..

One of the better Netflix shows, I was looking forward to a season 2. Shocked me when they cancelled, I normally don't write on these comments but this was a mistakes, did they even look at the ratings this show has, I guess not considering some of the other crap they have.

Well, thanks to Netflix for reminding me why I usually reuse to watch new shows in their first season - too many have been unceremoniously cancelled after a single season. I forgot my own rule for a bit there but I'm back on track now.

At some point, people are gonna have to realize that airing a full season IS giving the show a chance.
And yeah, let's all "not watch anything until we know for sure it's renewed", I'm sure that will help ratings…

It is becoming extremely frustrating with Netflix and their cancellations. This makes the sixth or seventh show I’ve watched in the last two years they have canceled before even giving it a chance/second season. I am going to wait to watch any new show on there until it’s at least renewed for a second season from now on. Was this show amazing…no…but was it fun entertainment for me…absolutely.

I loved this show. I am so tired of Netflix cancelling good shows an renewing stupid shows like their Reality show the circle, and that dumb animated shows like big mouth.
