Ellen DeGeneres announced today that her long-running talk show will be coming to an end after its upcoming 19th season. The news follows a rocky year for the host and her show, which was hit with accusations of being a toxic work environment from current and former staff members.
It's not clear how much the controversy played into the decision to bring Ellen to an end, but the decision ultimately came down to DeGeneres, who had been contemplating winding the series down for a few years now.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been a staple of daytime television since 2003. The series features DeGeneres' trademark humor, fun & games with the audience, celebrity interviews, and musical performances.
Currently in its 18th season, the show has another full season ahead of it before signing off for good in 2022.

After the latest scandal broke she only fired male producers.
What makes this outrageous is that the male producers that were fired were not there when the incidents happened and were hired after they happened and that is was female producers who were the ones that were not only allowing the incidents to happen but were also actively participating in them yet they were never fired..
Of course she was sued and has lost a few cases and a few more are still in the courts.
