The comedy will return for Season 2.
May 15, 2021
CBS announced today that B Positive has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes just two days after the comedy wrapped its freshman run, which drew overall positive reviews from critics.
The half-hour series stars Thomas Middleditch as Drew, a therapist and recently-divorced dad in need of a kidney. He finds a possible donor in Annaleigh Ashford's Gina, an unsophisticated woman from his past. Together, they form an unlikely friendship and start a journey that will greatly impact both of their lives.
Look for Season 2 of B Positive this fall as part of the 2021-2022 season.

The first episode completely turned me off. I didn't like the Gina character, she's very annoying. A few weeks later I watched a new episode with the full cast and I liked it enough for the series to become part of my Thursday night viewing. I don't know if I'll continue to watch it and the other Chuck Lorre Thursday night sitcoms now that "Mom" is gone.

I was surprised to like this show and I'm not sure how long it will be able to last, but I'll enjoy the ride for as long as it's around...

Like the show but, I'm not sure how long you can string out storyline that can't go anywhere past season 2.

It will be interesting to see where this show goes. It’s fun to watch the characters grow.

I tried to like this show but the leads are unlikeable.

I've been enjoying the show but it seems like the whole premise doesn't really work anymore. For the show to continue to work the kidney would have to be rejected which would ruin the show.

Is Ashford a relative of Spacolli? She sure sounds like him... too many hit to the head with Vans.

I like it, but they have to change that intro big time
