No Season 3 for the Walton Goggins comedy.
May 15, 2021
The Unicorn is saying good-bye after two seasons, as word is out this afternoon that CBS will not be continuing the Walton Goggins comedy in 2021-2022. The news comes two months after its sophomore finale, with its March 18 episode serving as its series ender.
The half-hour series was on the bubble for renewal, as its ratings were on the lower end compared to the rest of the network's lineup. While never a top audience draw, the show garnered plenty of praise from both viewers and critics.
The Unicorn follows a father of two who has been dealing with the loss of his wife for the past year. With help from his tight-knit group of friends, he decides to start dating again and learns that he is a hot commodity with women. His attractiveness, employment status, and track record with commitment make him a "unicorn" and highly sought after.

Too bad on this one. Some episodes were really good but others were "just get to the end already"

I honestly think the name of this show hurt its chances.the show itself wasn't bad

I liked this show. Not hilarious, but almost always amusing. Great cast with decent storylines. Was better than all the sitcoms on CBS, except The Neighborhood. Oh well.

So upset that it canceled. I love this show and Walton Goggins. This should a another great side of his acting abilities. The whole cast was great. Hopefully someone picks it up.

Bummed about this, though I'm not totally shocked. Was hoping they'd somehow find a way to bring it back for season 3.

Oh, Come on....this was my mom's favorite show to watch along with All Rise! Network executives don't have common sense when it comes to shows getting the wrecking ball aka cancelled! Maybe another network or streaming service could pick this show up!

They should move it to the Paramount Streaming Service. This was a good show. It was good seeing the lighter side of Walton Goggins. His Shield and Justified characters were violent crazies but here, he showed his human side.
