The Kevin Bacon crime drama will return in 2022.

Showtime announced today that City on a Hill has been picked up for a third season. The news arrives two weeks after the crime drama concluded its sophomore run, which at eight episodes was down two from the 10 it aired in Season 1.
Set in the early 1990s, City on a Hill follows an unlikely alliance that forms between a Boston assistant district attorney, played by Aldis Hodge, and a corrupt yet respected FBI agent, played by Kevin Bacon. Together, they take on a family of armored car robbers from Charlestown in a case that grows to involve, and even subvert, the entire criminal justice system of Boston.
The cable network has ordered another eight episodes for Season 3, which is slated to return in 2022.

Jackie is awesome ! Jenny has really become very interesting in season 2. I like Decourcy, but the marital and baby storylines do not move the series. He should be working with Jackie as uneasy partners. That said, glad for renewal.

This series is the best, especially Kevin Bacon and Jill Hennessy ! It might be their time for an Emmy! I honestly think they are that good!
