The culinary travel series has more adventures in store.
June 22, 2021
It is being reported that Netflix has picked up a fifth season of Somebody Feed Phil. The food and travel docuseries released its last new batch of episodes in October.
In the show, "Everybody Loves Raymond" creator Phil Rosenthal joins family and friends, both old and new, as he travels across the globe to take in a variety of cultures and sample some of the best local cuisines. His stops this past season included Rio De Janeiro, Singapore, and Hawaii.
The first two seasons of Somebody Feed Phil ran in 2018, followed by two more in 2020. If the release schedule stays the same, we should expect to see new Season 5 episodes in early 2022.

I just love watching Phil! Such a fun way to learn about different areas and the food they are know for. Like Chris said, I probably will never visit many of the places but if I am lucky enough to do so someday, I know what to look for!

This is good news! I really like this show and wish there were more like it. Every new food show seems to be a competition of some kind, which I’m sick of. I just want some guy in some faraway locale to show me around just in case I ever go there. Which I probably won’t but I can still dream.
