It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Bonding after two seasons. The news comes five months after the dramedy released its sophomore run.

It was a bad day for comedies on the streaming service, as three others also got the ax. 'Mr. Iglesias', 'Country Comfort', and 'The Crew' will all not be moving forward with additional seasons. The genre in general has been a challenge for Netflix, as many of its scripted comedies have had their runs cut short as of late.

Bonding follows a New York City grad student who moonlights as a dominatrix. After reconnecting with her former best friend from high school, she recruits him to be her assistant to make some extra cash. The unlikely pair's new professional relationship starts redefining their friendship. And it even helps them find themselves.
