No Season 2 for the Kevin James comedy.

It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled The Crew after just one season. The news comes four months after the comedy released its 10-episode freshman run, which ultimately garnered a mixed critical reception.
It was a bad day for comedies on the streaming service, as three others also got the ax. 'Mr. Iglesias', 'Bonding', and 'Country Comfort' will all not be moving forward with additional seasons. The genre in general has been a challenge for Netflix, as many of its scripted comedies have had their runs cut short as of late.
The Crew stars Kevin James as a NASCAR crew chief whose tight-knit team is shaken up when the owner steps down and hands the reigns over to his daughter, who starts making some unwelcome changes.

Just discovered the show. I find it funny, light hearted and easy watch. Wish there was more then 1 season

Tbh loved the show. Really hoped there will be someway it can be continued. Love pretty much the whole premise of the show. Sure you could see the similarities with Kings of queens. But in the end I just loved the familiar humor I grew up with. So I’ll give it a 7/10

When he fired Erin Hayes I was done with Kevin Fucking James. I actually liked his shows before that. Afterwards I read up on the creep to discover he's just a corpulent douche. Was happy to see Kevin Can Wait cancelled post Erin Hayes, glad to see this show cancelled. Karma is a vindictive bitch Kevin.

I thought this was funny. Was it Emmy worthy, no but it was funny enough to just watch. Really wish there was going to be a season 2.

It wasn't good. The only guy that got fired was a black guy, so that was a weird choice. The guy never got his job back either. Then they tried to humanize the villain of the show (the attractive but uncaring spoiled daughter of the owner). Won't miss it.

I did watch the King of Queens and enjoyed it, but when I heard what a nasty piece of work Kevin James is, I decided never to watch anything he was in again. Don't ask him for an autograph lol!

I loved King of Queens but unfortunately this was nothing like that.
However, this further proves my point that “Quantity over Quality” is the mindset over at Netflix. 80% of their original content is garbage. Yet, they continue on losing the rights to shows that people actually enjoy watching so that they can invest money into their original intent just to produce garbage like this.
