Disney+ announced today that Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes with two episodes remaining in the animated series' 16-episode freshman run, which has been generally well received by critics and fans.
Set in the aftermath of the Clone Wars, the show follows the elite and experimental clones known as the Bad Batch, who work to find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy. Its members each possess an exceptional skill that makes them extremely effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they embark on perilous mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find a new purpose.
Look for Season 2 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch in 2022.

These animated Star Wars series more than carry their weight in the Star Wars universe. They've had more impact than some of the Star Wars movies. I'm glad Bad Batch will be back!

This is fine animated show. Even compared to series from ten years ago , the animation here is very advanced. Even smoother than series from just five years ago. The stories are solid star wars stuff. Fanboys are never satisfied but you should be.
