It was announced today at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 that Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been renewed for a third and final season. The news comes two weeks after the animated series wrapped its 16-episode sophomore run.
Set in the aftermath of the Clone Wars, the show follows the elite and experimental clones known as the Bad Batch, who work to find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy. Its members each possess an exceptional skill that makes them extremely effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they embark on perilous mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find a new purpose.
Look for the final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch on Disney+ in 2024.

Personally I think the second season was inferior to the first but it was clear there had to be at least one more the way the story went. Here's hoping it will be more exciting and that Cid gets what she deserves.

This show got real dark and real good towards the end of this season. This is much better than Rebels, to be honest, but at the same time suffers from some of the same issues. One main issue is that seasoned adults listen to the child and feed their hunger for adventure. They show know better or counsel the child about the dangers of diving headlong into "adventure". In Rebels, it was Ezra, in BB its Omega. But oh well, its a kids series primarily, I suppose...

Good news, but bad news at the same time. Hopefully, they will come out with something in late 24/ 25 that follows this. Something along the lines of the formation of the resistance.
