Netflix has announced that Indian Matchmaking has been picked up for a second season. The news comes over a year after the reality series released its eight-episode freshman run on the streaming service.
The show follows marriage consultant and matchmaker Sima Taparia, who assists her clients in America and India through the process of arranged marriage, offering viewers an inside look at the custom in the modern era.
No premiere date has been set for Season 2 of Indian Matchmaking, but a return sometime next year appears likely.
Also, yeah I did. A little weak in English Comprehension class, were we?
Aren't the differences between cultures and races ok? I'm not sure why we can't all be respectful of those differences, and appreciate that they'll respect my/your cultural traditions. If you were to go live in another country for whatever reason, would you want people around you saying, "great, that person is ruining our country with his Thanksgiving and Fourth of July!"?
It's absolutely depressing that comments line yours appear on this site. This is a TV show you can watch or not watch. Nobody really gives a crap if you hate the mere idea of Americans celebrating their culture, but there's no reason to publicly defecate on it.
Unification comes through tolerance of diversity, and said tolerance does not come without exposure to said diverse cultures. So yeah, its just what we need indeed.
You mean like the one Hollywood exports around the world?..where Murica is all land of the free and home of the brave, and then turn on the news and you see videos where cops are shooting unarmed civilians, and the police force is using military grade tech to control civilian protests.
