It was announced today that Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years has received an order of 26 new episodes that extends its first season and will bring it back for Season 2.
The Paramount+ CG-animated series premiered in March and just wrapped its 13-episode run last month. Today's pickup adds another 13 episodes to its first season, bringing its total to 26. At least 13 more episodes will also be produced for the show's second season.
The prequel series travels back in time to when SpongeBob SquarePants was just 10 years old, as he and his underwater friends build campfires, catch wild jellyfish, and swim in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest.
