No Season 3 for the cable comedy.
August 17, 2021
Word is out that Freeform has cancelled Everything's Gonna Be Okay after two seasons. Creator Josh Thomas took to Twitter to announce the sad news, which comes two months after the comedy wrapped its sophomore run. Its June 3 episode now serves as its series ender.
The series follows Nicholas, a neurotic guy in his twenties visiting his single father and two teenage half-sisters, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. He hasn't been around much, but after learning of his dad's terminal illness, Nicholas decides to move in and help his siblings cope with their loss and help them hold everything together.

Not every pronoun or condition or sexual choice deserves a show. It’s happens, next week on trii-sexual he/she mentally slow game night…..

I never respond to these posts and I'm literally disgusted by this choice. The inclusivity, the amazing writing, the amazing acting, and the absolute realness of this needs to be aired. I'm extremely disappointed and freeform right now I expect more from them

This is not ok. Well, few freeform series last over three seasons.

That's so sad this was a very funny and inclusive show. The first time a leading character was on the autistic spectrum and played by people on the spectrum. It also really showcased how life is like on the spectrum or even just living with someone on the spectrum. Truly it was a one of a kind show and groundbreaking.
