Netflix has renewed Crime Scene, ordering three additional seasons of the true crime docuseries. The good news comes after a strong showing in its first season, titled 'The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel', which was watched by 45 million households within its first four weeks.
From award-winning documentary filmmaker Joe Berlinger, the anthology series examines complex cases that involve certain locations that ended up becoming accomplices to the crimes. Season 1 looked into the disappearance of a 21-year-old tourist staying at an infamous Los Angeles hotel.
Coming later this year on December 29 will be 'The Times Square Killer', which will examine the danger and depravity of New York's Times Square in the 1970s and 1980s and how one man committed murders in the area.
