No Season 2 for the anime-based sci-fi drama.
December 9, 2021
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Cowboy Bebop after just one season. The sad news comes less than three weeks after the release of its 10-episode freshman run, which ultimately garnered a mixed critical reception. Shortly after the news broke, star John Cho posted a seemingly-related meme on Twitter but didn't directly address the cancellation.
Adapted from the Japanese anime series of the same name, the sci-fi drama follows a ragtag crew of bounty hunters as they chase down some of the galaxy's most dangerous criminals. They're willing to save the world - for the right price.

Well that sucks! So much for giving it a chance. Finally something different that’s actually pretty good and they get rid of it. Netflix is getting to be as bad as cable tv!

Bummer. I hadn't watched it yet but I was definitely planning to, probably around Christmas when I have more time to veg out in front of the TV. It looked fun and I'm not into anime so I wouldn't be bothered by any differences between this and the original.
