HBO announced today that The Righteous Gemstones has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes four episodes into the comedy's sophomore run, which has been garnering positive reviews since returning after an over two-year wait between seasons.

The series follows a world-famous family of televangelists who have a long history of greed, deviance, and charitable work. Danny McBride stars as Jesse, a maverick in the ministry landscape who has taken what his father started and expanded it for a more contemporary audience.

Look for Season 3 of The Righteous Gemstones in 2023.

Great news for a great show. The only thing missing in this season so far is Walton Goggins.

This show is extremely F***ed Up, but in a great way. It is like nothing on tv. The acting is incredible. The episodes always leave you wanting more. I would hate to binge this show, because it deserves to be savored like a great steak or a great bottle of wine.
