No Season 2 for the musical dramedy.
March 4, 2022
It is being reported that Fox has cancelled The Big Leap after just one season. The news, which comes three months after the musical dramedy wrapped its freshman run, is not a surprise as it failed to draw a sizeable audience despite a favorable critical reception.
The series follows a group of down-on-their-luck individuals from various walks of life who attempt to change their fortunes by participating in a potentially life-altering reality dance show that involves putting on a modern reimagining of "Swan Lake."

Show was entertaining but one season was enough. Not every show needs multiple seasons to be successful.

I liked this show. Wasn’t sure how they would bring everyone back for another season but really hoped they got one.

I loved the uniqueness of this one. It wasn't your standard hospital drama, police procedural, or sitcom with a heavy laugh track. Fox tried something new and I applaud them for that.

I know it wasn't popular but it was my favorite for a while there so I'm mildly devastated.

I really loved this one too! But I am far more disappointed by the cancellation of Ordinary Joe. What a shame. Honestly, they cancel everything I think is talented. Cleaning lady is Fox. I think that is an intelligent show.

Yep. Good call. It looked terrible to me so I got out faster than I got in.

No surprise here... I thought about starting it at the time but figured it wouldn't last.
