The Amy Schumer dramedy will return for Season 2.
April 13, 2022
Less than a month after its premiere, word is out that Life & Beth has been picked up for a second season. Creator and star Amy Schumer announced the good news today during her appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
The half-hour dramedy stars Schumer as Beth, a woman who appears to have a pretty good life - she's in a steady relationship and works as a successful wine distributor in Manhattan. When an unexpected incident forces Beth to engage with her past, it changes her life forever. Through flashbacks to when she was a teenager, Beth begins to learn how she became the person she is and who she wants to become.

.. only thing decent Schumer's ever done was Last Comic Standing... that's it. 2 Minute sets... she could be funny then. But give her more than 2-3 minutes and it just gets drab and boring. Even her standup specials prove this... 2 minute gems in a hour of blech.... And.. she can't really act. I mean she' s better than many, but she ain't gonna win an Oscar in my lifetime.

This is a very good show and is barely a comedy, so who cares if you do or don't like her comedy? This show is a drama with some dark comedic elements. You do need to get through the first episode to appreciate the rest of it. I'm glad I hung in there and kept watching. I can't wait to see what they do with season 2.

I don't understand how she gets any work - she is NOT funny.. honestly I don't even giggle at her so called comedy.
I'm not a hater of hers, just being honest though, Amy isn't funny

She must be financing her own productions, I fell asleep watching the first episode, and watched it again, I think I had more fun watching paint dry.

Watched the whole thing. I didn't really laugh a whole lot, more-so watched it with a head-tilted interest. It managed to stay just on the right side of making me curious what happens next. Not typically a big Michael Cera fan but I liked his character in this. I'll probably check out season 2 just to see where it goes.

BARF!! So many dislike her, it amazes me she's "popular". It's like they know people can't stand her and they keep her around just for the hate.

Haven't checked this out... the premise just didn't sound that interesting to me.

We gave it a shot & barely got through the 1st episode, just not funny at all. I doubt we’ll give it another try.
