Peacock orders more of the romantic dramedy.
April 26, 2022
Peacock announced today that Wolf Like Me has been picked up for a second season. The news comes three months after the romantic dramedy's 6-episode freshman run, which garnered a generally positive critical reception.
The half-hour series stars Josh Gad and Isla Fisher as a new couple who each have their own set of baggage. Gary is an emotional wreck and is struggling to provide for his daughter since the passing of his wife. Mary has a secret that she hasn't been able to share with anyone. The universe seems to have brought these two together for a reason - they'll just need to keep following the signs.

@huh? when they hide the animal it normally means either it costs shed loads to film/make it or it didn't look like a wolf and so hid it, very much like they did in, 'An American Werewolf in London".

I loved the first season and the unexpected chemistry between the two leads. They had something special in season 1 and I hope they don't ruin it with season 2.

I'll watch anything with Isla Fisher... but this wasn't stunning. It was okay... but they hid the wolf a bit too much in my opinion.
