The workplace comedy will continue in 2022-2023.

NBC announced today that American Auto has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes two months after the workplace comedy wrapped its freshman run.
From 'Superstore' creator Justin Spitzer, the half-hour series premiered in December with a 10-episode run that garnered generally positive praise from critics. While it hasn't been a ratings hit, the show did perform well compared to other comedies on the network.
American Auto takes place at an automotive company in Detroit, where corporate executives are doing their best to adapt to the changing times or be left in the dust. A new CEO has been brought in to shake things up, but her leadership and experience is slightly offset by her complete lack of knowledge about cars. Thankfully her team has some of the best minds in the industry - when they aren't fighting or trying to outwit each other.

I'm astonished that Gary suggests it (a joke) should be believable. How could someone make that comment is beyond me.
Happy for the people who liked it though. Maybe it got better... I only watched the first two episodes.
