HBO Max announced today that Our Flag Means Death has been renewed for Season 2. The good news comes just over two months after the comedy wrapped its freshman run.
Since its premiere in early March, the half-hour series has garnered high praise from viewers and critics alike. It also ranks as one of the top 5 original comedy launches on the streaming service.
The show follows an 18th century aristocrat who trades in his comfortable life for one of a buccaneer. As the captain of a pirate ship, he struggles to earn the respect of his potentially mutinous crew. But his fortunes change after a fateful run-in with the infamous Captain Blackbeard.

Marco , the reality of steed is close to this show. He really did pay his crew he really was that bad a pirate. He did team up with blackbeard.
