The dramedy will not get a third season after all.
July 1, 2022
It is being reported that the already announced third season of Why Women Kill will no longer be happening. Paramount+ has changed its mind on the renewal, which was announced in December, instead opting to cancel the anthological dramedy after two seasons.
From creator Marc Cherry, the series looks at how women's roles have changed over time while their reaction to betrayal has not. Season 1 followed the lives of three women across three different decades each dealing with infidelity in their marriage. Season 2 was set in 1949 and explored the meaning of beauty and the truth behind the facades people present, focusing on a housewife desperate to join an exclusive club.

Best show. I’ve been waiting for a 3rd season just to not have one. You guys really need to know what good tv is. Listen to your audience and give us what we want. Another season!!!

Yeah um... in the REAL world, this isn't why most women kill. Let's stop glamorizing murder using a dumb, "sexy" fake story that makes killers look like victims.

Guessing it had something to do with the author who wrote "How to Murder your Husband" actually being found guilty of murdering her husband last week

One of the best new shows in years! I was so excited to hear of the renewal but this reversal will make me cancel my Paramount+ subscription because their content is just not there.
