The Masterpiece drama will continue in 2023.

PBS Masterpiece announced today that Miss Scarlet and The Duke has been picked up for a third season. The British-Irish mystery drama premiered for US audiences last year as part of Masterpiece's 50th anniversary lineup, becoming an instant hit with audiences and critics.
Along with the renewal, the network announced premiere dates for the upcoming second season as well as Season 3. Season 2 will debut on October 16, while Season 3 will follow not long after on January 8, 2023.
Miss Scarlet and The Duke follows Eliza Scarlet, Victorian London's first-ever female detective, who won't let anyone stop her from keeping her late father's agency running. Thankfully she receives help from her childhood friend and professional colleague, Scotland Yard Detective Inspector William Wellington, aka The Duke.

Looking forward to Season 2; interesting that Season 3 will begin on the same date as Season 3 of "All Creatures Great & Small" as both are part of the PBS "Masterpiece" series...
