Word is out that First Kill has been cancelled by Netflix after just one season. Dominic Goodman, who plays Apollo on the show, took to Twitter with the news this afternoon, expressing gratitude to the fans. The series released its eight-episode run in June, garnering mixed reviews from critics.
Based on Victoria Schwab's short story of the same name, First Kill follows teenage vampire Juliette, who is dealing with pressure to make her first kill and establish herself among her family of legacy vampires. She turns her attention to Calliope, the mysterious new girl in school who just happens to come from an equally esteemed family of vampire hunters. Both girls quickly find out that it's much harder to kill someone you're falling for.
To all the First Kill fans; I have nothing but love for every single one of you! Thank you all for taking the show in as your own, seeing you all feel seen made all the hard work and hours worth it🫶🏽❤️til the next project 🚀

Maybe HULU will have something better
You can have whatever opinion you want whether you're using different screen names or not. After all, it's the internet, Jasmine, or er um "Sweet," or......
Anyway, enjoy First Kill for what it was or wasn't...
But, I couldn't watch the whole series. The writing was bad, the acting was bad, the episodes were wholly uneven. The quality was just not good.
and I can be perfectly entertained by "B" level horror movies and I have to admit, the one girl looked so young on screen, I felt like I might need a shower after some of her scenes. Ick.
Didn't like it, didn't enjoy it.
The show was just plane terrible due to the acting - special Imani Lewis. It has nothing to do with mix relation or two girls fall in love (eventhough it's almost standard in show these days). I have no problems with either plots.
I had a huge problem with the show because the actors was just plain bad. And I'm a bit sad to say Imani Lewis was the worst of them. In my opion she can't act at all, and should quit her carrier.
But some of the supporting cast also wasn't very good. The budget for this show was simple to low for making a decent show.
But I look forward to the next fantasy shows, those are often those I enjoy the most.
But the acting was so bad in this one, that I already knew from episode 1 that there was a huge risk it would be cancelled.
Imani Lewis was so unconvincing in the show. She showed absolutly no emotion at all and I never believed she had any feelings at all for Sarah Catherine Hook.
At least Sarah Catherine Hook was somewhat descent in the show.
It would be cool to read the book, if the author makes it into one.
You probably need to read more about history to understand, but you’re simply mistaken.
