MTV announced today that The Challenge has been renewed for a 38th season, with a premiere date set for October 12. The news comes the day after the competition series' most-recent spin-off, The Challenge: USA wrapped its freshman run on CBS.
On the air since 1998, the show is MTV's second-longest running series currently in production. Each season features men and women competing in various themed formats filled with over-the-top challenges in hopes of taking home the grand prize.
For Season 38, dubbed The Challenge: Ride or Dies the show is heading to Argentina. This time around, it's bringing back fan-favorite veteran players who were given the chance to pick their partners for the season. Their relationships will be put to the ultimate test as their teamwork, loyalty, and trust are challenged.

I'm trying to figure out a certain season. The only part I remember is it was teams. Cara was in elimination with her partner, can't remember who it was or what they were doing, but Cara ended up peeing herself lol. Anyone know what season it was?

I skipped the Challenge USA because of the bad reviews. Happy for the "real" show coming back!!

Hope this is better than The Challenge USA. I do not think even the producers knew the rules on that show. It seems like they made up the rules as they went.
