ABC announced today that The Rookie: Feds has been picked up for a full season. The network has ordered nine additional episodes of the procedural drama, bringing its freshman total to 22.
Premiering in late September, the show is four episodes into its run. Today's pickup makes it ABC's first full-season order of the 2022-2023 season.
A spinoff of 'The Rookie', which is currently in its fifth season, the series follows Simone Clark, the oldest rookie in the FBI Academy. When the bureau launches a new unit focused on spending more time on the streets, she steps forward to try and make a difference.

This is an awful show and only getting more episodes because it embraces wokeness with every fiber of it's being. Too bad, but at least the original Rookie is still pretty good.

.. sorry but Nash has sucked in EVERYTHING she's done after Reno 911. She's a cartoon character and unfit for normal roles. She only works on Reno 911 BECAUSE she's a cartoon character.

I really like the Rookie and this spin off is not on the same level but enjoy watching it. Love the crossovers. I just hope it lasts beyond the 22 episodes.

Unrealistic. Subjective. 100% fair reaction if that's how one feels or is stuck. Of course few shows are even close to being realistic, but many shows you are accepting and others you are not.
It's "slow starting" or "pretentious" - but others who like it, do not have either reaction. There will always be disagreements. If you aren't all over the place on reactions then you must be a robot. No, but a hypocrite if you deny it.

I don’t have the hang ups about tv shows that a lot of people on here seem to have i.e. too woke, too far to the left, too political, and my all time favorite unrealistic! If you want realistic you should watch reality tv or read non-fiction books. Having said that, this show is horrible. Which is sad since I really like the Rookie. I like Niecy Nash too but I just don’t believe her in this role. I realize being a fed is a step up for her but she should just stay a Reno cop forever. I would be shocked if this show makes it through the first season without being cancelled.

ABC doesn't read anything said here.If they did,they wouldn't listen anyway. Please cancel this crap show and give the money to the actors/set builders and behind the scenes workers of the original Rookie show that is great.

I'll stick with Reno 911, not this grossly unrealistic cheesy drama com.
