The improv series could be ending after one more season.
November 5, 2022
Word is out that Whose Line Is It Anyway? could be coming to an end after its 12th season on The CW in 2023 - and what will be its 20th season overall. The improv comedy series is currently four episodes into its 19th season. Star Colin Mochrie took to Twitter on Friday to let his fans know that the final season begins shooting in January.
In the show, a panel of four performers take part in short-form improvisation - put on the spot and tasked with creating characters, songs, and scenes. Situations are setup based on topics from audience suggestions or predetermined prompts from the host.

My husband and I watch this show everyday, in reruns even. I love everyone on it, Aisha, Colin, Ryan, Wayne, Johnathan Mangum, Jeff Davis, Brad Sherwood, Greg Proops, Gary Anthony Williams,
Heather Ann Campbell, Naima, Chip Esten... It makes me angry they weren't paid properly and if they cancel it altogether I will be mad.

It's overall still good.. but the problem.. waaaaaaaayyy too many music "games". Those just go on FOREVER and drag the hole show down. I've enjoyed it, but really.. it won't be missed that much.

Enjoyed a lot of this but mostly love going back watching the old school sound effects they still do it but not as funny and seems a lot shorter. Those alone are funnier than an entire episode of these days.

I haven't really enjoyed this reboot. Aisha Taylor pretty much annoyed me from episode 1, but I persevered for a while. The original show with Drew Carey was one of my favorite shows - the guests enhanced the show when they came on, rather than this last lot. I'll go back to watching re-runs of the originals.

Something different than all the other shows. WB should stand for "why bother". I like the fact that within a year or two, WB will become a network that I can ignore. Say what you want about CBS or FOX, they give people what they want. We may not like all their programming, but we know Blue Bloods and The Simpsons are not going anywhere. Even shows like Seal Team gets moved to Paramount +, even though I hate paying for what was once free. Good luck WB. Actually, just fade away.

I really enjoyed this show. Hopefully they'll bring back original host Drew Carey for one final appearance before they wrap it up.
