November 30, 2022
Paramount+ announced today that Tulsa King has been renewed for Season 2. The early pickup comes just three episodes into the drama's freshman run, which has gotten off to a solid start since its debut earlier this month.
Per the streaming service, the show ranks as the #1 new series of the year. Its premiere episode aired on Paramount Network, where it was watched by 3.7 million viewers. The show has also received positive reviews from critics and viewers.
Tulsa King stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight "The General" Manfredi, a New York mafia capo who is fresh out of prison after serving a 25-year sentence. When his boss exiles him to Tulsa, Oklahoma to set up operations, Dwight starts to feel pushed aside, and sets out to establish a new criminal empire with a crew of his own.

Good show. Another Taylor Sheridan show (Yellowstone, 1883) It was unlikely it wasn't getting a second season.

Really enjoy the lighter tone of this show. Great role for Sly.

Interesting development. Stallone is on record saying he had no idea how much work was involved with TV as opposed to a movie. He was having doubts about doing a second season. I wonder what arrangements were made?

Absolutely brilliant. Very funny in places. Sly is a great laconic character actor supported by a wonderful cast

It looks really good, but I am NOT paying for cbs/paramount+. I will wait a year and borrow the dvds from the library.

I only have two episodes recorded on regular Paramount. I bet there should be more (that aired on P+). It was a good call not watch any yet as it looked like a tease trap.
