Paramount+ announced today that Tulsa King has been renewed for a fifth season. The early pickup comes ahead of its Season 4 premiere on October 16. Season 5 is relocating production from Atlanta to New York to coincide with the next storyline.

"We are thrilled to bring fans even more of this incredible series, and to be shooting the next season of Tulsa King in New York, where Dwight Manfredi's story will continue to evolve," said Drew Brown, EVP, Physical Production, Paramount Television Studios. "We're proud of the work we've done in Georgia, and it remains an important venue for us."

"We're excited to welcome the cast and crew of 'Tulsa King' to New York State for its fifth season," said Empire State Development President, CEO and Commissioner Hope Knight. "Under Governor Hochul's leadership, New York has built an unmatched home for film and television - world-class talent, iconic locations, and a Film Tax Credit Program that delivers real jobs and investment for New Yorkers. 'Tulsa King' represents the latest in a growing list of projects proudly filmed in New York."

Created by Taylor Sheridan, the series stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight "The General" Manfredi, a New York mafia capo who is fresh out of prison after serving a 25-year sentence. When his boss exiles him to Tulsa, Oklahoma to set up operations, Dwight starts to feel pushed aside, and sets out to establish a new criminal empire with a crew of his own.

In the upcoming fourth season, Dwight fights to legitimize his empire and protect his crew as corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a crushing personal loss hit from every direction. However, every hard-won gain comes with even harder truths: about loyalty, leadership and the cost of ambition. Each move drags Dwight deeper into the street instincts he left behind in New York - turning Tulsa into a battleground and Dwight into the one threat no one can afford to underestimate.
