The horror drama will return later this year.
January 15, 2023
It was announced today that Chucky has been picked up for a third season by USA Network and Syfy. The official Chucky Twitter account posted the news, which comes less than two months after the horror drama wrapped its 8-episode sophomore run, which continued to garner mostly favorable reviews from critics.
"The cast and crew of 'Chucky' would like to thank fans and critics alike for their overwhelming response to season two, which we're delighted to announce has now spurred the official greenlight on season three. This news has made Chucky very happy. Thank Damballa for that because otherwise Chucky would have been frankly impossible to deal with. Many thanks also to our partners at SYFY, USA and UCP for helping us keep Chucky busy. See you in 2023 for what Chucky himself promises will be his scariest season ever," said executive producer Don Mancini.
Based on the eponymous killer doll from the 'Child's Play' film franchise, the series follows Jake, a 14-year-old budding artist who makes sculptures with doll parts in his idyllic American town. When he comes across the Chucky doll at a yard sale, he can't resist buying him. But his unsuspecting purchase gives Jake much more than he bargained for. Before long, the town is facing a series of horrific murders that expose the its deep hypocrisies and hidden secrets. At the same time, characters from Chucky's past return to his life and threaten to expose the truth behind his mysterious origins.
Look for Season 3 of Chucky later in 2023.

tilly is a key aspect in the franchise.
but don't tilly, tilly, tilly it.
she reigned in a good portion of classic-faux yet referential horror.
And was admitted via the voodoo spells no one can seem to track down or translate accurately.
durn wormtongue safegaurding the books of lore.
sure, this series went a little too... offensive to everyone yet?
have you met chucky?
but I hope season 3 or 4 or whatever gets us a bit more into the terror

The second season was good but I liked the first one better. A lot of that has to do with Tilly. I know people who watch Chucky love her, but I'm not a fan. I can't help it. I just find her annoying. I admit to fast forwarding through her scenes. Hopefully season 3 is more like the first one.

BOOOOOOORING......More woke crap and Jennifer tilley is the most annoying actor ever produced by Hollywood. The 1st season was actually not half bad then the wokeness started. Don't know how this crap got renewed. But hey, obviously people are watching it.
