A horror drama following the eponymous killer doll from the hit movie franchise 'Child's Play'.
Jake is a 14-year-old budding artist who makes sculptures with doll parts in his idyllic American town. But he has been lost since the recent death of his mother and is now dealing with being bullied.
When he comes across the Chucky doll at a yard sale, he can't resist buying him. But his unsuspecting purchase gives Jake much more than he bargained for.
Before long, the town is facing a series of horrific murders that expose the its deep hypocrisies and hidden secrets. At the same time, characters from Chucky's past return to his life and threaten to expose the truth behind his mysterious origins.

This show is canon to the original movie series. Brad Dourif himself said it picks up right where Cult of Chucky left off. The recent movie remake is not canon and in fact never even had permission from the original creators. And with that season 2 finale, it definitely needs a season 3 to wrap up.

This season is not an insult. I’m so happy to have chucky back regardless of the story. They have honoured all the movies and made their own of it. It’s better than that recent movie where it was an electric glitch that created him, now that was awful. I

I have been a fan of the movies since I was born in the 80s and I even liked the newer ones but this series is an insult. They should just cancel it after the finale because most of it doesn't even make any sense and clearly all the writers care about is this dumb woke story and diversity which should have nothing to do with anything when it comes to a classic horror show like Child's Play. Last but not least, you're really crapping on the fans when your show is called Chucky yet he's only in each episode for like 2 minutes and the other 40 minutes consists of these boring ass 16 year olds running around talking about their home lives. I waited for this show for the last 2 or 3 years since I heard about it and I could not be more disappointed.
