Apple TV+ announced today that Prehistoric Planet is coming back for a second season. The documentary series premiered last spring as a five-night event, garnering critical acclaim for its state-of-the-art visual effects and the immersive narration by David Attenborough.
In the series, dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals from the Late Cretaceous period are recreated using computer-generated imagery, depicting what the lives of these creatures could have been like around the globe before the dinosaurs' extinction.
Season 2 of Prehistoric Planet will feature new dinosaurs and new habitats when it premieres on May 22.

Great show. One of my favorites. I wish they would do one featuring permian protomammals , and one featuring the post dinosaur ages..

I didn't know Attenborough was a part of this. I neither saw nor heard him in the preview, albeit he could pass for one of the dinosaurs. I've yet to see Attenborough do anything that wasn't great, and I may have see the large majority.
