The cop drama will not return for a second season.
May 8, 2023
It is being reported that East New York has been cancelled by CBS after one season. The news comes ahead of this Sunday's season finale, which will now serve as the series ender.
The procedural drama follows Regina Haywood, the newly promoted deputy inspector of East New York, a working-class neighborhood of Brooklyn. She leads a diverse group of officers and detectives, some of whom are reluctant to utilize her creative methods of law enforcement during the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification.

T is a little confused. You are actually supposed to comment on the show, not other peoples comments... But thanks for your efforts.

K, huh? A show that showed police officers doing good is woke? I wish people would stop using that word for anything they don't like.

Extremely disappointed this has been cancelled! It had a strong cast and storylines with tons of potential. Can another network please pick this up and give us another season of Amanda
Warren?
