No Season 3 for the island-set drama.

It is being reported that Fantasy Island has been cancelled by Fox after two seasons. The news comes just one day after the drama's sophomore finale, which now serves as its series ender.
An updated version of the 1977 original, the series is set at a luxury resort where any fantasy that its guests request is fulfilled - but they rarely turn out as expected. People from all walks of life arrive with desires and dreams and leave transformed and enlightened through the magical realism provided by Fantasy Island.

I’m so disappointed this got canceled. It’s the one show that’s different than most shows that are on the air. I record almost everything I watch (unless I’m streaming), and I would always choose to watch this show first the next day. I really hope that fox would reconsider giving the show another chance. Let the popularity build. Everybody that I know watches it and likes it. I’m really going to miss it.

Fox doesn't have much in the way of television shows that many people watch so canceling Fantasy Island will mean that they will suck even more. They're never going to beat NBC so it really doesn't matter.

What a disappointment. This was a fun, sort of relaxing show to watch-so different from the fast-paced, high energy police and hospital dramas that are flooding tv now.
I loved Elena Roarke's character. I thought she was so elegant, and her outfits were beautiful. Not a fan of Ruby though. Still, if it got renewed, I would have watched it.

I enjoyed this show but am not surprised. Network TV hardly ever gives shows a chance. But this means less TV for me. WINNING!!

I am really sad about this cancellation. This was a great show! Love the characters and the stories. I am glad they wrapped it up on the season finale, so we were not left hanging. It amazes me the good shows that are cancelled and the junk they renew.

Once again the networks cancels a very enjoyable show. That was the last show on Fox that I watched. At this rate there will be nothing for me to watch.

Aww just saw the finale last night. I liked this show. Have no problem understanding Elena.

It got cancelled because it's hard to understand when Elena talks. The stories were not so bad.

Man, I hope some of the new fall shows are good, with this cancelation! I really enjoyed this show and looked forward to every episode. Network TV is killing itself off!
