ABC announced today that Not Dead Yet has been renewed for a second season. The news comes two weeks after the midseason comedy wrapped its 13-episode freshman run, which ultimately garnered a mixed critical reception.
Adapted from the book 'Confessions of a 40-something F**k Up' by Alexandra Potter, the half-hour series stars Gina Rodriguez as Nell Serrano, a newly single and broke journalist who is working to restart the life and career she left behind five years ago. When hired for the only job she can find - writing obituaries - Nell starts getting life advice from an unlikely source.

Yay! So many actors from other comedies I loved to watch, Lauren Ash from Superstore & Another Period, Hannah Simone from New Girl, & my favorite Gina Rodriguez from Jane the Virgin. It stays interesting with a new obituary every week.

Yes, I would agree, light hearted. I enjoyed it when Martin Mull would appear, he still funny. It's part of my recorded series that I have. Keep up the great work!
