No Season 2 for the action drama.

It is being reported by TVLine that The CW has cancelled Professionals after one season. The news is not surprising, as the network is in the midst of a significant shift in content since being acquired by Nexstar Media Group. The series aired its 10-episode run last fall. For their part, the show's co-creators have stated their intention to shop it to other networks and platforms.
A spin-off of the 2012 film 'Soldiers of Forture,' Professionals stars Tom Welling as Vincent Corbo, a security professional whose job is to protect the interests of rich and powerful clients by any means necessary. When a medical satellite explodes on deployment, he is hired by billionaire futurist Peter Swann, played by Brendan Fraser, who suspects sabotage. As Vincent and his team investigate the disaster, they expose a lethal conspiracy involving Swann's corporate rivals, corrupt government officials, and a shadowy crime syndicate.

Ya this show came out in 2020, produced by some swedish streaming service. Then CW bought the rights to air the 1st season. New this wouldn't be renewed, especially since CW is cleaning house.

Shows live and die by not only actors who may be able to save a sinking plot (not for long) but by writers who know how to evolve the story line and not write themselves onto a corner. We will have to see if this series can find another venue. It was a little like the 'Strike Back' British buku-action series (not the Mi 5/6 stuff) but where they take a small group of people, are outnumbered and do the specific actions to affect the desired outcome.
