Paramount+ announced today that School Spirits has been renewed for a second season. The news comes two months after teen drama wrapped its 8-episode freshman run, which garnered an overall positive reception from critics and viewers.
The series stars Peyton List as Maddie, a teenage girl stuck in the afterlife investigating her mysterious disappearance and death. As she begins her crime-solving journey while adjusting to the afterlife, she joins up with the Split River High Afterlife Support Group. But the closer she gets to uncovering the truth, the more secrets and lies she uncovers.

Maybe in season two Peyton List can NOT look like someone just ran over her dog in every scene.

I didn't expect this, but I enjoyed the show. Lets hope it will be the same standard in season 2, which often isn't the case...
