HGTV has announced that Good Bones will be returning for an eighth season. The home renovation series, which is a consistently solid performer for the network, will be back with new episodes beginning in August.
The show follows mother and daughter duo Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak, who work to revitalize their hometown of Indianapolis by buying rundown homes and transforming them into incredible urban remodels. With Mina's expertise in real estate and Karen's legal background, these women are able to obtain the properties they want and then get their family to help with the demolition and construction.
In Season 8, Mina will help both of her younger siblings reimagine their new homes, while the rest of the crew take on various new renovation projects.
Season 8 of Good Bones premieres on Tuesday, August 15 at 9:00pm.

I think the show has gone too far off topic. Seems they are dealing a lot less with "good bones" and more trying to fill the hour to fulfill the need for quota for shows. I realize the market has changed and cheap houses are harder to find. But maybe it's time to let it go.

I am amazed how affordable those homes are. Am I missing something? Are those homes in bad neighborhoods.
