Onyx Collective has announced that its Hulu dramedy UnPrisoned will be coming back for Season 2. The news comes nine months after the show's freshman run premiered as the content brand's most-viewed premiere on the streaming service.

Inspired by creator Tracy McMillan's life, the series stars Kerry Washington as relationship therapist Paige, a single mother whose father, Edwin, is getting out of prison after 17 years. Wanting to make up for lost time, Edwin moves in with Paige so he can get to know the grandson he has never met.
